當我說到自由的建築,當我將自由和建築合在一起時,我覺得在原地創造出了新的風景,或許就是自由。

2018年日本當代建築師石上純也受邀以“自由的建築”為題,在巴黎卡地亞當代藝術基金會展出並獲得各界關注好評,還被英國衛報評選為建築界年度最重要的事件之一,呈現了近幾年已完成及未完成的建築項目。此次是卡地亞當代藝術基金會與與上海當代藝術博物館的第二次聯合策展,不同於在巴黎玻璃大樓的展出,石上純也特別針對上海PSA的大型展出空間精心設計了特別的場景。每個主題項目都擁有自己的小空間,設計了一個小開口像是觀景窗一般,把各主題如一道道的風景串連起來,呼應了此次展覽的主題“自由建築”,不受局限的融入“自由”情境,讓展出變得多元有趣。如同石上純也說的:“當全世界的人們都以自由的視角思考建築,當這樣的風景連接在一起成為一個空間時,世界必將變得更加豐富。世界上價值觀的種類和建築的種類就會更加接近。建築就會比現在變得更加與人親近。
石上純也繼承了日本現代建築文化的薰陶,除了重視人在空間的感受外,作品還能感受得到那股細膩、輕盈與自然融合的特色。他擅長觀察環境,發掘未知中待開拓的潛力,讓建築體成為當地景觀的延伸。也因此他設計的建築已不再是一個簡單的遮蔽物,而是創造出新的景觀讓人們眼前為之一亮,形成這個世界的巨大空間中各色各樣的“風景”
自己像是周遊列國的瀏覽他在不同國家及環境下所設計的優秀建築,一下山東,一下荷蘭,突然間又到了日本及悉尼。看著展出的大型展品、模型,欣賞著精美手稿、建築手繪及影像資料,讓人感受到原來建築設計可以如此多元不受局限。尤其是他親手在白紙上寫的主題介紹,讓人感受到冰冷的建築設計中所融入的熱情與溫度,還有他對未來建築的願景。
🎈像是生活在洞穴般的住宅與餐廳:石上純也從石頭的特性中汲取靈感,用“像一塊岩石”的概念來打造空間。創造出了類似於洞穴的空間品質。
🎈蛇行畫廊展亭:現身在倫敦肯辛頓公園草坪。以常見的屋瓦層層堆疊起來像是大黑鳥的翅膀停在草坪上正準備展翅高飛。但有有時遠遠望去有覺得像是一朵烏雲,草坪上正下著雨!
🎈雲之拱門:像緞帶般的雲拋向空中,是一個巨型的拱門,作為新的城市紀念碑坐落在悉尼市政廳前喬治街兩側。隨著角度及光線的轉移及變動會呈現不同的面貌!

空靈的幻影
猶如水母蘊含著汪渼,在海水中飄飄然地蕩漾。幻影蘊藏著風景,在空間中軟綿綿地躊躇。
Ghost
Ghosts are made of emptiness. Holding the scenery, they wander softly through spaces, in the way that jellyfish drift quivering in the water, holding ocean.
🎈平和之家
在大海上建立一座禮拜堂。
一個超越宗教界限,可以沉思世界和平的地方。光線從浸滿室內的海水中靜靜地滲出來。
在夏天感受窗戶打開后划過海面的清風。在冬天關閉窗戶后儲存熱能的海水,讓室內變得温暖。海面與建築軀體間有了充足的光線,空間因而誕生。建築內便充滿了風景。
House of Peace
A place of worship right on the sea. A place to move beyond the fences erected by religion, and contemplate world peace. Light seeps quietly from the seawater filling the interior. In summer, windows are opened, to feel the breeze skating along the ocean surface. In winter, windows are closed and the interior warmed by heat accumulated in the water.
The gap between sea and structure is filled with light: a space emerges.
The building is filled with scenery.

To think about architecture freely does not mean creating building forms that indulge the architect's self-expression. Rather it means to consider and confront, sincerely and candidly, the roles of architecture sought after and needed. We should consider what it means to think freely, and whether architecture should incorporate past customs and conventions. We should ask ourselves who is architecture for ? is it for everyone or for a specific individual? Is it for humans or for all animate beings? It may be necessary to think about architecture in a context where all elements are considered with equal importance.
Think about architecture freely.
I anticipate a future where new roles and conditions for architecture materialize that have never pervious been imagined.
🎈像是生活在洞穴般的住宅與餐廳:石上純也從石頭的特性中汲取靈感,用“像一塊岩石”的概念來打造空間。創造出了類似於洞穴的空間品質。
像岩石一樣,一座住宅兼餐廳的建築。仿佛很久以前就在那里。郤又不是自然生成的東西。
挖洞。澆入混凝土。從泥土中將混凝土塊挖出來。把玻璃嵌進去,室內就此誕生。
House and restaurant
A rock-like building.
Combining home and restaurant. That looks as if it has been there forerver, yet would never exist naturally. Holes are dug and filled with concrete, then the lumps of concrete dug out of the ground, and glass fitted to make the interior.House and Restaurant
🎈蛇行畫廊展亭:現身在倫敦肯辛頓公園草坪。以常見的屋瓦層層堆疊起來像是大黑鳥的翅膀停在草坪上正準備展翅高飛。但有有時遠遠望去有覺得像是一朵烏雲,草坪上正下著雨!
Serpentine Pavilion
A summer pavilion situated in estensive parkland. A hill of small rocks is formed withing a vast landscape. Firtt, a graceful , gauze-like structure is assembled from fine steel vertical and horizontal members. Broken stabs of rock are then scattered and piled on the top, forming an expansive canopy.
All of sudden, looking at the mountain of rocks constructed there, I imagine a bird, in flight across the sky, the countless black rocks, layered one upon another, now black feathers. The bird spread its vast wings and wafts upward on the wind. The cluster of narrow rods supporting the roof, forming endless streaks of rain, as the giant black bird, dances in the stormy skies.

Cloud Arch for Sydney
Cloud Arch is a huge gate planned in front of Sydney Town Hall to surround George street as a new urban monument.
A giant gate, about 60 meters high, standing in the very middle of the city. Forming an arch from a white line, as if drawing a cloud in the sky. Beneath this huge line suspended, dancing in the air, many different spaces are created. Walk around the line changes, the scenery too. Everyone commits to memory their own lines, in different shapes.
🎈神奈川科工大學工房 : 大學的工房,由300多根又細又薄的柱子支撐著所有結構。沒有牆壁。柱子看似隨機地被排布,但實則不然。這結果體現了嚴謹的設計。通這模型從不同角度對柱子的位置進行調整和記錄,一遍遍地反覆。這里所記錄的,只是無數研究的一項。在森林般的空間里,自由地思考,自由的居住,讓設計變得看不見。
KAIT University workshop: Over 300 thin, narrow pillars support the entire structure. There are no walls. The pillars, at first glance randomly arranged, indeed look random, but art not. Rather they are the manifestation of careful planning to look random. Using models, the arrangement of the pillars is studied from various and adjusted and recorded, over and over.
The record here is one of the these innumerable studies. Ind the forest-like space, individuals can find different spaces, consider them freely, use them as they wish. The idea is to render the plan invisible.
🎈校園多功能廣場 : 在工房旁建有多功能廣場的大屋頂,其中一根柱子都沒有。
屋頂是由一片厚12mm長110m寛70mm 的巨大鉄板打造而成。屋頂儘由四周的牆壁支撐。一個又大又薄的空間,一個廣闊而親密的空間。這裡的剖面模型,是從大空間里截取出來的一部份。可以讓人感受到誇度110cm沒有任何柱子的空間。為了讓構造成立,決定把開口的位置和形狀視為拼圖的零片,去進行組合。貼在這里的銀色作品,就是其設想的一種。屋檐上有許多開口,開口處無法嵌上玻璃。風會吹進來,雨水也會打進來,晴朗的日子,會有大量的光線。
投躲到室內,產生明暗的變化。下雨的日子從開口墜入的大量雨滴,形成團塊後,再轉為水柱顯現出來,隨著天氣,室人的風景也瞬息萬變。 University Multipurpose Plaza :
The massive roof of a multipurpose plaza, standing next to the workshop, with not a single pillar inside. The roof consists of a single sheet of 12mm steel plate. 110 meters wide, 70 meters deep, supported solely by the surrounding walls. Avery large, thin space, very in size, yet intimate. The cross-section model here represents part of the large space. One can sense, a pillar-free space with a 110-meter span. The positioning and the shape of the openings were determined. In the way one might put a puzzle together, so the structure would be feasible. The silver piece here is one of the those studies. The roof has lot of openings. The openings are not fitted with glass. Wind will come in and so will rain. On fine days light will pour into the interior. Creating areas of light and shadow. While one wet days rain will form masses, appear from the openings in columns. Thus the scenery indoors changes according to the weather.
🎈藝術生態植物園/水庭
現在是牧草地,曾經是水田。更早之前是長著苔蘚的森林。將旁邊的森林遷移到這裡。將水田般的水景注入其中。把苔蘚滿滿地鋪上。就像去重疊這片景觀的歷中般地建造庭園。
Botanical Farm Garden Art Bioptop / Water Garden
What is now meadow, once was rice paddies. And prior to that, mossy woodland. The adjacent forest is moved here, and a waterscape reminiscent of paddy fields superimposed on the scenery. Moss is laid densely, as if flowing and a garden created, that is overlaid with the history of the landscape here.
🎈老人之家 :古舊感是無法袼創造的。將日本各地打算拆除的房子,以整移的方式集中到建築場地上。根据能在路上通行的大小進行拆解,原樣搬到建築場地。被匯集到同一地方的房子,每一棟都不盡相同。搭建的工匠不同,所在地區也不同,衰殘的狀態不同,使用方式也不同。風格迥異的結構相連在一起,成為一個整體,成為一座建築。
一座給認知症高齡患者使用的大房子,以古舊感的價值來思考空間存在方式。讓空間與認知患者們的記憶相連結。
Home for the Elderly
Age is not something one can make. Houses from all over Japan slated from demolition are instead transported to a single location. Cut into pieces to fit one the road, they come together on the site. These houses now all in one place, are all different. Constructed by different builders, in different areas of the country, aging in different ways, used in different ways. Structures of completely different look and feel are jointed into one, formed into a piece of architecture, a large home for elderly dementai patients. The approach to spaces is considered in terms of ages as a value, so that the space connect with the memories of their new occupants.

進餐、讀書、躺下、放鬆及睡覺。
House wiht plants
A garden in a house, where the garden is an intimate part of life. Wake up, eat, read a book, lie down, relax, sleep, all along with the scenery.
